An idea I had a while ago since alot of our members are into anime.

Basically it works like this, people list anime they have watched a rating out of 10 and reason for said rating, and ill try and update the list taking adverages of the same animes listed and listing reasons below.

Basically the reasons are meant to be mini reviews.

Ill begin to show how it works, though its probably obvious.

Wolfs rain 9/10

A fantastic anime full of plot-twists, character development, humour, and fight scenes rounded off by a godly soundtrack. Lowered because of the *spoiler highlight to read* slaughter of almost all of the main characters, seriously its almost systematic, though made up slightly since most of the major ones are re-incarnated Also I found the ending lacking.

Trigun 8/10

A brilliant and old anime, filled with charatcers you quickly learn to like and a genuine twisted evil opposition who you grow to hate (or at least I did, bloody Legato) Let down by its lower than adverage quality at its time of release and its poor soundtrack.

Full metal Alchemist 10/10

Astounding, simply astounding were the words I uttered after watching the end of FMA, A show starting with brothers trying to get back what was once there, making a major turn about half-way through going into gritty drama, this show has almost everything: Action, friendship, humour, drama, angst, music, animation, character design, character development, evil oh and did I mention angst? I would say it lacks some of the minor character development (Hawkeye, Havoc) as opposed to the manga since thats the only fault I can think of.

Fate/Stay night 6/10

A good anime that'll appeal to the action mystery crowd, this anime is good for two things, fight scenes and fan-service, it lacks character development, and the main characters actions are somewhat unbelieveible. The ending is rather lacking but the soundtrack has one or two quality numbers.

Air Gear 9/10

An anime with a unusual concept (super roller-skates basically with a surprisingly detailed plot for such a concept) Air gear is well known for its fan-service and the fight scenes are always action packed. The soundtrack is well suited to the show with several notable songs.

5/10 - D.N.Angel

Set in Italy when should be set in Japan. Character names are wrong, annoying voices, mutilated story. In a word, not even half as good as the manga. Only makes up for it 'caus Dark Mousy is so hot <3

10/10 - Grave of the Dragonflies

One of Studio Ghibli's finest. Emotonal, heart wrenching and utter brilliance in the form of the art used throughout this film. Mixes the cute with the gritty, and you will be fighting a lump in your throat during the end. Not just an anime - it's a film all should watch.l

8/10 Tales of Earthsea by Studio Ghibli:

Has a villain called Cob. Is an interesting tale from the lore of that female author who wrote the original Earthsea books. From what I remember of it in 2007, it was pretty good.

6/10 Spirited Away by Studio Ghibli:

Was too surreal for my liking. I didn't understand it all that much, and some bits were just plain weird. The old woman turning into a crow? The spider-type guy activating the switches? The muck monster chasing after the little girl? Her parents becoming pigs? Trippy.

6.5/10 Onmyou Taisenki
This is a really childish anime. The main character humanoid-animal companions that they call shikigami (while we call them furries, i think). it's a battle anime for 6-10 year olds and people who don't grow up. The animations repeat over and over again, making 1/4th the episode fillers. The reason I like it is that there is fighting. XP
~ there might be a catgirl, but the occurrence of cat-girls is more in the manga of the same name.
Note: If you're actually going to watch this, turn off the sound when the girls are talking.

Can't do the game justice, plus it ends right when they get to Tethealla

This is more of a dramatic anime, at least, for the last half it is. The beggining though, is quite funny.
PLOT: A boy who looks kinda thuggish receives a love letter, addressed to his best friend. The girl comes back for it, discovering the boy likes the girls best friend. They decide to work together to get each other with each others best friends.

Watched a bit of this at Annie's. It was okay, but too surreal again for my liking. Every episode the guy saw one of the girls partially naked and got hit.

Pro: Great moral and story. Gore and Nudity
Con: Gore and Nudity

Beyblade 7/10
Why was this anime so addicting? I'll never know why.

Junjou Romantica 5/10
First few episodes were good. Later on were boring and repetitive. But there were doctors in it. That makes it awesome

Higurashi no naku koro ni 10/10
Its godly. Nothing can describe how perfected this was. Great mystery and plot twists. Fun characters that you can sympathize with and hate at the same time.

Claymore 9/10
Great story and art. Characters are all well developed. Needs more backbone in the beginning though since it's pretty boring at the start. Other than that, pretty good anime.
